    If you damage any of the equipment and it needs repair, please let us know!

    LAUNCHING THE EQUIPMENT

    We recommend you take your paddle board out to Thetis or Langford Lake. They are very close to us. We can also recommend some other spots for you to take the boards to. We give you route information and there is lots of wildlife to view, as well as some amazing beaches to spend some time.

    Please Respect Our Equipment:
    We offer our premium Slifeshop Paddle Board gear for all our rentals and experiences. Please make sure when starting or finishing your paddling, you are doing so in knee to waist-high water. This ensures that the fins are not touching the bottom and keeps our equipment in great shape for the next paddler. Carbon paddles are delicate and designed only for water. Please do not use them to push off rocks or other hard surfaces. If any gear is lost or broken, the cost to replace them is charged to the customer.

     

    DAMAGE DEPOSIT

    A valid credit card is required for a damage deposit hold. We pre-authorize/hold $400 for each paddle Board rented.

    We reserve the right to notify guests if their vehicle is not suitable for transporting the rental equipment or if concerned about damage to gear. Any damage to the rental equipment created by the transportation or during the rental is the clients’ financial responsibility.

    Namaste beautiful Yogis,

    I’m Sarina(Yan) and it brings me great joy that you are going to practice Paddle Board yoga with me!

    Both Yoga and Paddle Boarding have been true passions of mine and that why I started designing paddle boards and started Slifeshop Paddle Boards in 2021. I attended 200 hour yoga teacher training in Ilsa Mujeres, Mexico in 2023 and 500 hour yoga teacher training in Kathmandu, Nepal🇳🇵 in 2024. Before that I have been practicing yoga regularly since 2017.

    In Nepal, I have truly learned yoga from the source, from generational yogis in Nepal and truly deepened my yogic practice in so many different levels and aspects. Yoga is not only just an exercise, most importantly, it is a spiritual practice to bring to your divine self, the union of Shiva&Shakti(Yin&Yang ☯️ )

    In my 500 Hours Advanced Yoga Teachers’ Course I learned Hatha yoga, Ashtanga Yoga, Kundalini Yoga, Yoga postures, meditation, breathing science (Pranayama Mudras and Bandhas ), yoga philosophy, yoga detox&cleansing techniques, yoga physiology and anatomy, Ayurveda, Mantra Chanting, meditation, lifestyle in depth of understanding. I also acquired my Tibetan Singing Bowl Sounds Healing certificate.

    I practice yoga everyday and always learning and reading to deepen my practice in my free time.

    If you cannot to a lot of advanced poses? And don’t worry, I’m still working on those as well. Yoga is not about being a contortionist, it’s about healing, training yoga body and mind to become stronger, to love yourself and realize your divine nature. It’s about being in the present off your mat, living a life that is authentic to you, being kind to yourself and others. In western world, people have a skewed view of yoga as just the pose(asana) practice, but traditional yoga is so much more than the asana practice. At Slife Yoga, I hope to bring out other aspects of yoga as well. Cultivating a balanced mind and Body.
