INFLATION PROCEDURE:
1. Choose a smooth surface to assemble your board.
2. Remove the board from the back pack and unroll it. Unroll the board completely on a smooth surface free of rocks and other loose material. Grass is a great.
3. Unscrew the valve cap. Important: before you start inflating, make sure that the valve pin is in the upright position – this ensures that the valve seal is closed and the seal will not leak air when removing the pump hose.
4. Insert the pump hose and twist the hose into the valve counter clockwise. Attach the other end of the hose to the “Out” port on the pump. If you are using an electric pump be sure to set to stop at 12 PSI. The PSI gauge will not read until you reach at least 7 PSI.
5. Now start pumping. Stand the pump on hard, level ground and start to pump. You'll notice that the first bit goes quickly, and it starts to get harder to pump as you near the recommended 12-15 psi.
6. Once you've reached between 12-15 psi, remove the pump by twisting the hose quickly to the left and pulling up.
7. Replace the valve cap.
8. Slide the fins into the fin sliders. Make sure the fin is inserted all the way to the end. Then insert the clip into the slot until you hear a click sound. Make sure the clip is catching the fin.
We recommend using the board at a pressure between 12- 15 psi. 15 psi gives you the best performance. The final few PSI is the key to getting the maximum performance from your board
WARNING: DO NOT USE AN AIR COMPRESSOR. It will result in damage to the
board, and will void all warranties. Maximum air pressure for this product is 15psi. DO NOT INFLATE BEYOND 15PSI. Inflatable SUP boards are not warranted against over inflation.
FIN INSTALLATION:
Turn board over with slot for fin facing up. Slide fin in slot all the way to the end. Then take pin and slide through the side of the slot, through the fin and then through the other side of the slot.
ANKLE LEASH INSTALLATION:
A leash is provided and must be used. There are rings installed at the tail end of the board. Clip the leash to whichever ring you feel most comfortable with.
PADDLE ASSEMBLY AND USE:
1. To prepare the telescopic paddle for use, loosen by turning middle grip counter clockwise.
2. Slide paddle to desired position and turn clockwise to tighten in place.
DEFLATION PROCEDURE:
1. When you are ready to deflate your SUP, remove the fin and unscrew the valve cover, gently
push down the central valve head.
2. Once the main pressure has decreased, push down all the way and twist the valve head. This will lock the valve open and allow all air to escape from the board while you roll it up for storage.
3. Clean and check the board as well as all the accessories. Make sure the board is completely dry before putting it away. Make sure that no sand or gravel remains inside the board or between the hull and the inner chambers. This could result in abrasion or even punctures while storing the board.
4. Roll the board up starting from the nose with the deck pad on the inside and the fins will then be on the outside. This roll direction prevents damage to the flexible composite EVA deck pad.
5. Once rolled up completely, place into backpack.
6. Store the SUP backpack in a cool shaded in door place.
NOTE: If you leave your board exposed to the hot sun, check the pressure and deflate it slightly.
The board may become over inflated and stretch the material. The ambient temperature affects the tube’s internal pressure; a variation of 1.8 degrees Fahrenheit (1°C) causes a variation of them pressure in the tube of +/- 0.06psi (4mbBar)
