Looking for a fun and relaxing way to end your week? Join us for the Victoria Gorge Community Social Paddle every Friday afternoon! 🚣♀️🛶
**What to Expect:**
- **🛍️ Support Local:** Connect with amazing local businesses Slifeshop Paddle Board and get a discounted rental price at $29.99 instead of $59.99 market price for being part of the community.
- **😊 Meet Your Neighbors:** Get to know the friendly faces in your community in a laid-back and welcoming environment. We will start at the point and paddle to around Point Ellice House and come back to the point to chill in the sun.
- **🌿 Nature’s Embrace:** Feel the calming and healing effects of the water and nature as you paddle along the beautiful Gorge.
- **💆♀️ Unwind:** Leave the stress of the week behind and immerse yourself in the tranquility of the water.
Bring your paddleboard, kayak, or canoe, some snacks and beverages, and let’s enjoy a peaceful and joyous afternoon/evening together! No experience is necessary, so whether you’re a seasoned paddler or a beginner, all are welcome! 🎉
We can give simple instructions if this is your first time trying paddle boarding
**Details:**
- **📅 Date:** Every Friday from June to September
- **⏰ Time:** 6 pm-8:30pm or whenever you want to leave
- **📍 Location:** The Point on the Gorge
- **💸 Price:** Free for those with their own paddleboards. Discounted price of $29.99 + deposit for local rentals. Txt 250-415-4581 or email connect@slifeshop.com after the rental booking and please arrive a few mins earlier to sign the waiver and receive your paddle boards.
- **⚠️ We will cancel if it’s below 20 degrees, raining, or the wind is over 20km/hour, or if we are busy that week and cannot host( will let you know in advance)
